User Provided Information
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.
When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide (a) your name, email address, age, username and other registration information; (b) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (c) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and other information that does not identify you, such as posts and comments.
In order to register as a user with our Service, you will be asked to sign in using Facebook login or your email address. If you login using Facebook, you authorize us to access certain account information, such as your public Facebook profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook), your email address, gender, birthday and current city.
If you use the Application to chat with other Application users, you provide us the content of your chats, and if you contact us with a customer service or other inquiry, you provide us with the content of that communication.
When you send or receive messages or posts, we also collect, process and store the contents of the message or post on our servers. The contents of messages and posts are stored on the devices of recipients as well.
By using the Service, you are authorizing us to gather and retain data related to the provision of the Service. When you provide personal information through our Service, the information may be sent to servers.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
Collection of User Location
When you use the Application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will share your current location with other users or partners as that is part of the functionality.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings or in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.
Sharing of Information
We may use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
We may also use your posts or public messages to disclose them on our website, or for marketing purposes on Facebook or other social media or printed matters, i.e.
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- With our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
- If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the Website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
You can stop all collection of information by either changing the settings on your device, if this settings option is provided by your device operating system, or by uninstalling the Application from your device. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at http://www.hellow-app.com/contact, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all the User Provided Data may be required for the Application to function properly. We cannot guarantee that deletion always occurs within a particular timeframe.
Use of Web Analytic Services
The following analytic services are used to improve the user experience of our services: Google Analytics for the Website and Firebase Analytics for the Application, both being services for the marketing analysis of our Service, provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google, and thus this application and third-party vendors uses first-party identifiers for mobile devices (including Android Advertising ID and Advertising Identifier for iOS), cookies and similar technologies which allow for an analysis of the use of the Service. The information generated about your use of the Service (including your IP address) will be transferred to and stored by a Google Server. Google will use this information, to evaluate your use of the Service, to prepare reports about the activities for the Service operators and to provide further services connected to the use of Service and the use of the internet. Google may transfer this information to third parties, if legally obliged to do so or if third parties process these data on behalf of Google. In no case, Google will connect your IP address with other data from Google.
App Users can opt-out the Firebase Analytics features used by the Application through applicable device settings, such as the device advertising settings for mobile apps or by uninstalling the application from their device.

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at http://www.hellow-app.com/contact. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft and unauthorized access. We cannot warrant security for data transmitted to our services because the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Still, we encrypt any communication between the app and our servers.
Our Service is based in Denmark. The information we collect is governed by the applicable Danish law. We operate the Services in Denmark, and depending on your country of residence, the submission of Personal Information via the Services may involve transfer of personal information to Denmark, or where our servers are located, which can change over time. Please be aware that privacy laws in Denmark may not provide protections equivalent to those of your country of residence.
